Dr. Stephanie Chan, OD graduated from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 2000. Born and raised in Walnut Creek, Dr. Chan returned to the Bay Area after earning her BS in Biology at UCLA.
Dr. Chan has traveled to the Philippines, Ukraine, and Chile as a volunteer to provide glasses and eye care services to underprivileged citizens. As a member of the California Optometric Association and American Optometric Association, she remains active in supporting the future of the profession.
Dr. Chan is so fortunate to practice optometry in the town she grew up in and continues her philanthropic efforts by donating to numerous local school organizations and charities. She has recently become a Platinum Business Partner with the Walnut Creek Education Foundation. She also volunteers her time as a member of the School Site Council at her daughter’s middle school as well as the National Charity League. It brings her so much joy to provide for all ocular health and vision care needs for her patients as well as giving back to this wonderful, supportive community.
Dr. Bryan Doherty graduated magna cum laude with a biology degree from UC Santa Barbara before attending optometry school at UC Berkeley School of Optometry. He had gained many years of experience working in a variety of practice settings, including lasik centers and ophthalmology practices, before purchasing a practice in Concord. He has also volunteered his time to perform vision screenings for underprivileged citizens in Costa Rica and Ukraine. His hobbies outside of the office include golf, painting, and spending time with his family.
